Margaret and Barry Sharman from Canada weren't able to see their wedding photos until 56 years later because they didn't have enough money to pay the photographer for the photos on time.. The New York Post writes about it.

77-year-old Margaret and 78-year-old Barry got married in 1968, but they only had enough money to pay for the services of a photographer, and there was no money for the photographs themselves.

“We were never able to pick them up because there was no money,” said Margaret.

But Margaret's longtime friend Sandra Farinyuk, decades later, came across photographs in the museum where she worked. Farinyuk recognized herself in a photograph from the Sharmans' wedding party and decided to surprise the couple.

“It was very touching for me that I was able to do this,” said Sandra.

After retouching the photos, the woman sent them to their spouses on the eve of Christmas. When Margaret and Barry received the package, they were filled with joy to look back on their wedding day.

The set of photos included one from the wedding party, one with the newlyweds and a third photo of the bride posing herself.

" Margot was 20, I was 21.

We've come a long way and we've had a wonderful time and a wonderful life,"

Margaret stated that she was very grateful to the photographer for saving these photographs..

" Every time I think about it, I cry,"

Let us remind you that the bride’s friend was included in the frame of the wedding photo shoot and became a feature of the entire program.

Focus also wrote about how a woman unpacked her grandmother's wedding dress after 64 years.
