A group of scientists from the University of Tokyo has developed an ultrathin elastic LED display that can be glued to human skin. This was reported by Japanese public television NHK. The screen consisting of microdiodes 1 mm thick resembles a patch measuring 6 by 10 centimeters.

According to a group of researchers, the display does not cause any discomfort in a person, even if it is attached to a mobile part of the body, for example, on the back of the palm. On this screen, you can read text messages and watch videos. According to the head of the research team of Professor Takao Somay, the massive introduction of such displays will help improve the quality of everyday life of people of all ages, since it will greatly simplify access to information.
