Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman initiates the improvement of the system of state building codes for the construction of roads, taking into account the construction of the roadway and compliance with safety rules. The head of government said this during a special meeting on road construction issues, the Government Portal. "We are attracting billions to modernize roads, but the question arises about building standards. We need to change building norms - quickly. New projects and construction solutions are needed - for effective use of funds. We need to give a message how to design, what the rules of the traffic, speed and the like should be, "Groysman said.. The Prime Minister reminded that the government allocates a significant resource for the construction of roads. At the same time, the effective use of funds is not only the length of the upgraded highways, but also their safety and compliance with the quality requirements for the canvas. That is why the improvement of the regulatory framework, on the basis of which road construction projects are being formed, is an urgent issue. After all, the quality of construction and traffic safety should be laid at the stage of projects.

The participants of the meeting noted that this approach is fully consistent with the program "500-500-1000", presented last year - a plan for the construction of 500 ring junctions, 500 security islands, 1000 ground pedestrian crossings on the roads of Ukraine. But the problem is that today all the permitting procedures take considerable time and are cumbersome. Improvement and optimization of procedural decisions will speed up the process.
