The publication Bloomberg drew attention to what factors stimulate the development of mining in the world. It turned out that specialists in the production of crypto-currency literally hunt for cheap electricity in order to increase the margin of business. Based on information from the New Energy Finance report, the publication compiled an infographics of the countries' attractiveness for mining. According to BNEF, the cost of energy can take from 30% to 60% of the proceeds from mining. The situation is explained by the fact that the calculations that accompany the production of crypto-currency are constantly becoming more complex, and large-scale server farms require air conditioning. Now, to operate computer equipment that supports the operation of the bitcoin block, it would take 30 nuclear reactors launched at full capacity. This is more than the modern electric car industry.

At the same time, in China, leading in the field of mining to the country, most of the farms rely on energy received from coal-fired power plants. The government is trying to influence the situation, limiting the impact on the environment, and introducing new regulatory measures. Thanks to this, about 70% of the enterprises engaged in the mining of bitcoin are now owned by Chinese companies. Against this background, investors are looking for new places for optimal investment of funds. Georgia is one of the favorites of such a race at a cost of $ 50 per megawatt-hour. The average cost of electricity worldwide is $ 121 per megawatt-hour. By the number of "white" cells for each country from the list of Bloomberg compiled a world map of the convenience of mining.

Ukraine (according to the estimates of the editorial staff) it would be located in the middle of the rating, receiving 3 possible balls out of 5. The advantages were cheap energy, a relatively low average annual temperature, a satisfactory position in the international business rating. There are two negative factors: insignificant use of renewable energy sources and slow Internet connection. Thus, Ukraine, has appeared in one category with Austria, Holland, Japan, Russia.
