The inventor Frank Zapata presented his new invention - jet jet. After successful experiments with hoverboards, the former world champion in hydrocycle competitions returned to the origins. His new invention is a continuation of the "flyboard" - small installations that allowed to fly using a powerful jet of water. At the same time, they resemble lightweight hydrocycles, writes New Atlas. Zapta's fame came not from his sports career, but from inventive talent. After he left the sport, he started creating devices at the intersection of water sports, sports and technology of the future. The first successful and vivid invention of it was FlyBoard - a platform, fastened by which a person gets the opportunity to take off on the water stream. The invention spread all over the world, there were even separate competitions on "flyboarding". But FlyBoard was limited by the availability of water and the need for the presence of a hydrocycle. Therefore, Zapata developed a more extreme and free transport - a hoverboard. The device was somewhat similar to the FlyBoard, but no longer had limitations in the form of water or the need for auxiliary transport. With him, Zapata became known already in wider circles. Video, where a Frenchman tests his hoverboard, scored millions of views on YouTube. It even reached the point that he was threatened with a prison in France for such flights.

Maybe the fear of prison affected, but the inventor again returned to the water. His new device continues the concept of the platform FlyBoard, but it looks more convenient and safe. Judging by the rollers and photos, the new device looks more like a hydrocycle, but in a much lighter configuration.
