From the budget of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces in 2018, 81.7 billion hryvnia will be spent on the needs of the general fund, and another 4.3 billion hryvnia - for a special fund. This was stated at the briefing by the head of the budget planning department of the Department of Finance of the Ministry of Defense Konstantin Kifarenko. "The total fund is provided for in the amount of 81.7 billion UAH, special fund - 4.3 billion hryvnia", - said K. Kifarenko. He also told how the agency plans to dispose of budget funds.

So, more than 18 billion UAH will be spent on the purchase of weapons and military equipment. More than 50 billion - for staff, more than 5 billion - for infrastructure and more than 12 billion hryvnia - for organizational expenses. Moreover, K. Kifarenko assured that these funds will be enough. "In this situation, we have enough of these funds, if, of course, the situation does not change," said K. Kifarenko.
