It is so much to pay to motorists in Austria for the motor work idle in the parking lot and for other sins that are not considered violations in Ukraine at all. The Austrian automobile club OAMTC reminded local motorists that for cleaning the car from snow in the parking lot with the engine running they face a fine of 5,000 euros. Information about this published the newspaper Kronen Zeitung. Severe punishment is explained by the inconvenience caused by the surrounding strong noise and unpleasant odor, as well as an additional burden on the environment. The warming up of the motor and, moreover, the cleaning of the car from snow when the engine is running according to paragraph 102 of the government order is serious hooliganism, which is not only senseless, but also punishable. European experts reminded drivers that modern engines do not need warming up. Work idle not only does not prolong the life of this unit, but also does not allow it to quickly reach the operating temperature - prolonged warming up of the motor speeds up its wear. It is much better to start the traffic immediately than to warm the car in the parking lot. As for the condensate on the windows from the side of the cabin, it can be removed easily with an ordinary rag. Similar in severity sanctions apply to those who did not bother to remove snow from headlights, street lamps and license plates.

In Ukraine, alas, the problems of ecology and even more about the noise and smell no one cares. Domestic motorists continue to in vain burn fuel and spend tens of minutes on mindless warming up of the engine before the trip. At the same time, they are convinced that by doing this they extend the life cycle of their engine. No penalties in our country for a parking engine engine is not provided.
