From January 1, 2018 Ukrposhta changes the tariffs of postal items. In particular, the company completely eliminates the lowest tariff "Within the regional center", equating such items with the parcels "Within the region". In addition, it increases the cost of sending parcels weighing more than 1 kg. The company assures: in this way they intend to simplify the life of customers and raise the salaries of employees who make up to 70% of the cost of services. And also note that they bring the tariff scale to the requirements of the NRKSI. "The universal service of sending parcels without declared value, the tariffs for which are approved by the NCCR, is the basis for the tariff scale of the Ukrposhta Standard service," the press service of the operator explains.. And they add that in the case of sending a parcel without declared value weighing up to 10 kg, it will be issued as the departure of Ukrposhta Standard, and its cost is calculated at universal tariffs. At the same time, changes were made to the tariffs themselves. For example, express mail inside a city weighing 30 kg, which now costs 42 UAH. , from the New Year will be charged at UAH 72. And the same parcel on the grid "Standard" will rise in price from 33.6 UAH. up to 66 UAH. It should be noted that express parcels weighing up to 5 kg within the region will be shipped at old rates.
True, it is worth considering that from January 2018 the concept of "between regional centers" will be abolished. And such parcels will be paid for by the most expensive tariff scale "Within Ukraine". We will also add that the time limits for the delivery of parcels also increased. Changes touched the express shipments in Ukraine. If now they should reach a maximum of 4 days, from the new year Ukrposhta will be able to deliver them for 1 day longer.
