As you can see, in Ukraine the lowest penalty in Europe is only 2 euros. Also, most Ukrainian drivers feel "carefree angels" - according to infographics, they wear less than 15%. It should be noted that the data for Ukraine were made in the spring of 2017 during a "field" study in 20 cities of Ukraine, and the sample was 25 thousand. human. "The researchers conducted measurements in 20 cities of Ukraine and found that in none of these cities, even half of motorists do not use seat belts.

The best of the worst indicators are Kiev (37.9% of the fastened drivers), the Dnieper (30.6%), Lviv (25.4%) and Pavlograd (21.4%).

The attitude of drivers to safety belts in other European countries differs dramatically. Even in neighboring Moldova, at least one second driver is fastened. From 90 to 100% show the whole of Western Europe - from Spain and Portugal, to Finland and Norway. Also they have very high fines.
