This third person was the developer John Dass, who in the official Slate of the Bitcoin Gold project received the status of "DEVELOPER" and openly urged all users to choose the wallet he developed. It is worth noting that the team BTG confirmed cooperation with John Dass, and Mybtgwallet called a safe and non-oil purse. Later the Bitcoin Gold team issued a statement in which they distanced themselves from the development of third parties, noting that they were not responsible for the actions of John Dass. Now a group of eight people is in talks with the developers.
