Up to 20,000 people remain in occupation in Izyum, and about 25,000 people on the territory of the Balakleya community occupied by Russian troops, the head of the Izyum regional administration, Stepan Maselsky, said on the air of Ukrainian Radio Kharkiv..

According to him, people of all ages remain in Izyum, including children.. The Russians do not coordinate the delivery of humanitarian aid, reports SQ.

The situation in Balakliya is also difficult. According to Stepan Maselsky, two thirds of the settlements of the community have been occupied. Products, medicines and hygiene products were delivered to Balakleya for the last time on May 7, now they are not allowed into the city.



As the head of the district administration noted, a number of enterprises were damaged in the community, military warehouses were destroyed.

Petrovskoe, Zavgorodnee, Protopopovka, Gusarovka, Volobuevka are under almost daily shelling.. All infrastructure destroyed in Protopopovka.

In the Balakliya community, according to Maselsky, there is not a single surviving school. It is impossible to conduct distance learning, because there is no Internet and communication.
