The situation in Izyum, Kharkiv region, is no better than Mariupol, the city has been under siege for two weeks. Deputy mayor Volodymyr Matsokin wrote about this on his Facebook page..

“We receive information that the survivors of shelling are dying from diseases and lack of medicine.. No one to bury the dead. Medical assistance is not being provided,” Matsokin wrote and added that there is no way to bring humanitarian aid in sufficient quantities and take people away.

“The enemy is cunningly shelling the road to Slavyansk, and the road from Kharkov is controlled by the occupier. Izyumchane on the verge.

Bridges torn down, city cut in half. No messages!

Izyum urgently needs humanitarian corridors from both sides (from Kharkiv and from Slavyansk) for the delivery of humanitarian goods.

Raisins need green corridors on both sides for the evacuation of citizens,” Matsokin wrote..
