A man with children who tried to illegally enter Russia was stopped by the border guards of the Kharkov detachment.

According to the State Border Guard Service, the district inspector of the border service of the Cossack Lopan department received information about the appearance of unknown persons in the border area.

During the verification of information, the border guard at about 22 pm, 20 meters from the state border with the Russian Federation, stopped the travelers.

" Since they did not have the documents necessary to cross the border, he chose an illegal way - bypassing the checkpoints,"

The man told law enforcement officers that his cohabitant treated her children badly - two boys and two girls, so he decided to secretly get to the Russian Federation with them.

The border guards also found that in November 2021 they had already detained a man. He, too, with these children tried to illegally cross the Ukrainian-Russian border in order to get to Voronezh. But last time, their mother was also with the children..

Then, according to the court decision, a man and a woman for trying to illegally cross the border as part of a group of persons had to pay a fine of UAH 8,500.

Border guards brought a man to administrative responsibility for attempting to illegally cross the border. In addition, his actions are seen signs of a crime under part. 2 st. 146 of the Criminal Code "

To clarify all the circumstances of the case and make a further legal decision, the man, along with his children born in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2017, were handed over to the National Police.
