A bus accident in Croatia early Sunday morning killed 10 people and injured at least 45 - some seriously.

This is reported by the AR agency with reference to the statements of the Croatian authorities, writes "

The accident occurred at about 6:00 am near the town of Slavonski Brod on the highway between the capital Zagreb and the Serbian border.

Photos from the scene show a bus lying on the side of the road.

Firefighters and rescuers can be seen around the bus, highway traffic is stopped.

The bus had Kosovo license plates. He followed a regular route from Germany to the capital of Kosovo, Pristina. The cause of the accident is unknown.

Officials said the bus carried 67 passengers, including children, and two drivers..
