Law enforcement officers detained a 27-year-old resident of the village of Karpilovka, Rivne region, who involved five girls in prostitution and also sold drugs.

During the pre-trial investigation, the police found that the attacker recruited five girls, residents of Rivne and the Rivne region, aged 18 to 25. The man himself looked for clients and took them to the agreed places.

“The services of one girl cost from 2000-2500 thousand hryvnias per hour, of which the pimp took most of the funds for himself. Payment was made both in cash and by transfer to a bank card. In addition to being drawn into prostitution, a 27-year-old man was exposed during an operative purchase and on the illegal sale of drugs.. He also forced girls to sell methamphetamine and marijuana, ”the police said..

Yesterday, March 11, during an authorized search at the place of residence of the defendant, investigators and operatives found and seized plastic packages with methamphetamine and marijuana. And in his car they found devices for smoking drugs and a plastic bag with methamphetamine.

As part of the pre-trial investigation initiated under Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, everything seized was sent for examination.

The attacker was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention center. The issue of informing him of suspicion of committing crimes provided for in parts 1, 2 of Article 303 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (pimping) and the choice of a preventive measure is being resolved.

The sanction of the article provides for from four to seven years in prison.
