Kharkiv resident who blew up grenades on Gagarin Avenue was taken into custody.

By the decision of the judge of the Kominternovskiy district court. Kharkiv, the position of the prosecutor's office was supported and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention of a Kharkiv resident who is suspected of attempted murder (part. 2 st. 15 p. 5 h. 2 st. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It was established that on November 20, a 51-year-old resident of Kharkov, being in the apartment of his ex-wife, demanded $ 5,000, which the woman allegedly owed him, and threatened with murder.
After that, the man went out into the courtyard of the house and threw two grenades into the windows of the apartment in which the woman was located, as a result of which the victim received a bruised chin.
Later, the attacker, being on the playground near the said house, detonated a third grenade. The explosion tore off his left hand.
The man received multiple shrapnel wounds to the abdomen and limbs. He was admitted to the hospital.
The man was detained, he was informed of suspicion and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention. The meeting was held in videoconference mode, since the suspect was in the premises of a medical institution.
Currently, the suspect's condition is satisfactory.
For what he did, a man faces punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment.
