Four ppm of alcohol was found in the blood of a citizen of Ukraine, who tried in vain to leave the parking lot of the railway station in the city of Kielce by car. When his maneuvers were ineffectual, his friend, also tipsy, decided to get behind the wheel. Police detained both men, Polish Radio reports.

The incident happened on Monday morning. According to the representative of the provincial police commandant's office in Kielce, Maciej Sliusarchik, according to the information provided, two drunken men stayed on Independence Square in Kielce, who arrived at the scene by a car. Ukrainians explained to the police that someone else had arrived by car. “Of course, someone unknown who left in an unknown direction. 39 and 18-year-old men were allegedly passengers of the said car. After checking the state of sobriety, it turned out that an 18-year-old guy has about one, and his older friend has four ppm of alcohol in the body.

Police examined CCTV footage showing unsuccessful attempts by men to maneuver a car on Independence Square. When one of them failed, a colleague replaced him. So drunk men took turns to break the law with one car, the police said.

Both citizens of Ukraine were detained. They face up to 2 years in prison.
