Church utensils, crosses, images of saints and a book for baptism were stolen from the church of the Holy Hieromartyr Alexander of the Kharkov Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Church ministers contacted the police on September 17 at 18:00, the regional police department said.
The robbery took place between 14:00 and 14:30. A 46-year-old man is suspected of committing a crime.

Criminal proceedings were opened for hours. 3 st. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft). The suspect faces three to six years in prison.
