On June 30, law enforcers detained a communications platoon commander in a bribe from one of the military units of the Zhytomyr garrison.

A soldier demanded and received a bribe in the amount of 10 thousand. UAH from a colleague who is transferred to another place of service. For a bribe, the suspect promised to sign a bypass sheet and an act of acceptance of the transfer of position, as well as provide a report to the command of the unit on the absence of deficiencies regarding the condition of the property of the corresponding service.

The detention of the platoon commander took place immediately after the transfer of the above amount of bribe.
