Today in Ukraine, 495 events were held with the participation of almost 9,000 people. The police received more than 90 reports of possible violations. Based on the results of their development, four criminal proceedings were opened and 20 administrative protocols were drawn up.. This was announced by the Chairman of the National Police of Ukraine Igor Klimenko.

“Police generally ensured policing and quarantine during events. Each policeman’s work was aimed at clarifying legislation and the need to comply with certain restrictions.. However, there were some violations. Therefore, in general, according to the results of the testing, the police opened four criminal proceedings and drew up 20 administrative protocols, ”said Igor Klimenko.

According to him, two criminal proceedings under art.. 436-1 (production, dissemination of communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine are investigated in Sumy and Lugansk regions. Two more criminal proceedings under art.. 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - in the Donetsk region and in Kiev.

In particular, in the Sumy and Lugansk regions the fact of using forbidden symbols was established.

In the Donetsk region damaged cars rally participants. And in the capital, criminal proceedings have been launched on the fact of bodily harm in the Darnytskyi district of a man who carried a scarf with the symbols of one of the political parties.
