The prosecutor's office of the region reported suspicion of a criminal offense under h. 2 tbsp. 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (official negligence, entailing grave consequences) to the director of the state enterprise “Gutyanskoye lesozhestvo”.

According to the oblast prosecutor Alexander Filchakov, director of the said state-owned enterprise, unscrupulous about his direct duties and improper performance of them, he did not ensure proper storage of the property of the state-owned enterprise, which was entrusted to him. As a result of these actions in the Vladimir forestry of the State Enterprise “Gutyanskoye lesohozyaystvo” by unidentified persons, in October-November last year, illegal cutting and removal of more than 200 oaks. As a result, the state suffered nearly 4.2 million hryvnia.

The issue of dismissing the above director of a state enterprise from his post and choosing a preventive measure in the form of house arrest is currently being decided..

According to h. 2 tbsp. 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the suspect faces imprisonment for a period of 2 to 5 years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to 3 years and with a fine from two hundred fifty to seven hundred and fifty tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or without it.

The specified criminal proceedings are being investigated by the territorial administration of the RRG in. Poltava, operational support of the USBU in the Kharkiv region. The procedural management is carried out by the prosecutor's office of the Kharkiv region.
