Poles will be able to visit the USA for tourism and business purposes without visas for up to 90 days from November 11. The president of Poland Duda told reporters about this, according to "

As Duda noted, the US ambassador to Warsaw, Georgette Mosbacher, informed him that an official announcement would be announced in Washington on Wednesday that Poland would enter a visa-free program and set a date by which Poles would be able to travel to the USA without visas.

Duda thanked US President Donald Trump, who promised that Poland would be accepted into the visa-free movement program until the end of his first cadence.

On November 6, the United States Department of State officially nominated Poland for inclusion in the visa-free travel program..



As noted by Polish Radio, Poland fulfilled the most important condition for joining a visa-free program (Visa Waiver) - the percentage of refusals to issue visas to the Poles fell below the 3 percent limit.

Special visas will still be needed, for example, for students and journalists, as well as those who want to stay in the country for more than three months.

Citizens of 38 countries of the world can now travel without visas to the USA, 23 of them are EU members.
