In the course of the pre-trial investigation, the police found that a conflict had occurred between the husband and wife the day before.. During a quarrel, the attacker grabbed a chair and struck a 79-year-old woman a few blows to the head and torso area. She died from her injuries..
According to this fact, criminal proceedings were instituted according to h. 1 st. 115 (murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of article provides punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of 7 to 15 years.
