On November 3, at about 1:20 pm, the police received a message from a 41-year-old man stating that there is explosive in a private household in the village of Chistovodovka, Izyum district.
This was reported in the department of communication GUNP in Kharkov region.
Militiamen who arrived at the address during inspection of the household did not find any explosives.
The challenge turned out to be false.
In committing a criminal offense, the police exposed the owner of the “mined” house. The man confessed to the crime and said that he called the police, being drunk.
Investigators of the Izyumsky police department opened criminal proceedings against. 1 st. 259 (knowingly false message about the threat to the safety of citizens, destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
A man faces up to 3 years in prison.
