At the end of last week, Ukrainian border guards noticed clouds of smoke or evaporation of unknown origin over the Crimean Titan plant in the occupied Armyansk, but their devices of toxic substances in the air did not record.

This was reported by the representative of the State Border Service Oleg Slobodian, reports "Ukrainian Truth".

When asked to comment on the complaints of the residents of Armyansk about poor health, which are written by the Russian media, and to tell whether there were any emissions from the plant, Slobodyan said:.

"We cannot make final conclusions about the situation in Armyansk, because we do not have complete information on all aspects. But I can say that we also read these messages, we track them for the purpose of prompt response in case of abrupt changes.. Our devices at the moment do not record the excess of the content of toxic substances in the air ".

However, he added that border guards have seen certain emissions or fumes.

"The plant does not work, but at the end of last week, border guards observed clouds of unknown origin over the buildings of the plant. Is the deterioration of the well-being of the residents of Armyansk connected with this smoke or the clouds over the plant - we cannot say. These conclusions should be made by specialists ", said the representative of the State Border Service..

Slobodian also added that the border guards do not register the excess of poisonous substances also because recently the winds are blowing towards the peninsula.
