The Security Service of Ukraine considers sabotage the main version of a fire at an ammunition depot near the town of Ichnya in the Chernihiv region.

It is noted that the SBU in general considers three versions of the causes of a fire in an ammunition depot, which caused explosions of shells.

"The main one is sabotage with penetration into the territory of the warehouses of the sabotage group, the second is violation of fire safety rules or ammunition storage, and the third is deliberate arson or undermining in order to conceal a shortage of ammunition,".

According to Andrei Lysenko, a representative of the Prosecutor General’s Office, a group of military prosecutors is currently working at the scene, inter alia, interrogating the guards of the armed guard of the Armed Forces, who were directly guarding the ammunition storage area and other witnesses.
