Russian hackers who have attacked the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, have been involved in the abduction in 2014 of a confidential Belgian Foreign Ministry report on Ukraine, Belga reported.
"The Belgian federal prosecutor’s office is investigating incidents that occurred in 2014, when hackers stole a confidential diplomatic report from the Belgian Foreign Ministry about Ukraine," the report said..
It notes that "as during the incident in the Netherlands, these hackers were part of the military group (military hackers) APT 28". "This group was involved in the theft of e-mails of the Democratic Party in the United States in an attempt to influence the presidential election," the agency said, pointing out that the Federal Prosecutor's Office of Belgium is continuing to investigate.
