Dergachevsky regional court of the region took into custody a 66-year-old man suspected of killing his son, reported in the prosecutor's office.

As the deputy head of the Dergachevsky local prosecutor's office Alexei Kushnarenko said, the tragedy occurred in Zolochiv in August this year, on the eve of state holidays.

According to the investigation, men drank together.

The 33-year-old son began to remember his father's old grievances, in particular, the fact that after the death of his mother he left him and his other children in a boarding school.

Conflicts on this ground between them arose earlier. This time, a drunken father in response to reproaches grabbed a knife from the table and hit his son in the stomach. From the injuries the man died in the hospital the next day.

Now the pre-trial investigation is in progress, all the necessary investigative actions are being carried out. The maximum sanction of the article provides 15 years of imprisonment.
