The easiest way to determine a bill is to look at the light. The watermark in the present note, which is viewed on the gleam, should be similar to the portrait. On counterfeit money, there is often no microprinting with a picture of a portrait.

Also, it is worth paying attention to the protective tape that runs across the bill, with a microtext, where the denomination can be seen against the light. Do not forget to also look at the text on the bill. On fakes you can often find errors in words.

You can check the authenticity of the note free of charge in any branch of the bank, where there is a cash register. If they prove to be counterfeit, banknotes are withdrawn without compensation of their value and are transferred to the police for further examination.
