Darnitsky District Court of Kiev sentenced to life imprisonment an intruder who, for profit, wounded a taxi driver and killed a serviceman in 2016.

The investigation found that on April 25, 2016 in the Darnitsa district of the capital, a 28-year-old man wanted to rob a taxi driver, and then killed an accidental passerby.

The message about the first crime was received from ul. Diesel, where an intruder stabbed a taxi driver in the neck, which drove him. The attacker grabbed the victim's mobile phone and disappeared.

Already in 20 minutes not far from the street Dragomanova he attacked another person - a 43-year-old military man, who happened to meet, escaping from the scene of the previous crime. The malefactor inflicted knife injuries incompatible with life to the officer.

Based on the results of conducting secret investigative (search) actions, the suspect was able to establish and detain.

Law enforcers note that in the place of his residence he was found numerous material evidence indicating his guilt.

"In addition, the cytological and molecular genetic examinations, the protocols of identification and the investigatory experiment were unconditional evidence of the guilt of the person in the court," the prosecutor's office.

By the decision of the Darnitsky District Court of Kiev, an attacker was sentenced to life imprisonment with confiscation of all property that is his personal property.
