A suitcase with a dismembered body found a passer-by near the railway in the town of Fastov and informed the police, the Police Communications Department in the Kiev region.

"According to the head of the police of the Kiev region, Dmitry Tsenov, during the first investigative-investigative activities within a few hours the police dog brought law enforcement officers to the house of a suspect in the murder and dismemberment of the body of his concubine. He was a 41-year-old unemployed local resident, "- said in a report on Tuesday.

As the detainee said, during the drinking of alcoholic beverages, a quarrel arose between them, as a result of which he struck a woman on the head. When he realized that the female partner was dead, decided to get rid of the body, dismembering him with an ax and knife.

At the place of residence of the suspect, the police conducted an emergency search. Law enforcers discovered and seized items pointing to the direct involvement of a man in committing a crime.

The attacker is in the temporary detention center. Now all the necessary examinations have been appointed, the question of choosing a preventive measure.

On this fact criminal proceedings were instituted on h. 1 st. 115 (Intentional Homicide) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A man faces up to fifteen years in prison.
