The crash of Boeing 737, owned by the airline Utair, which suffered on Saturday, September 1, during a landing in Sochi, was due to the fact that the aircraft "flew" the landing point. This was reported by a source in the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC). According to him, the information transferred to the dispatcher by the liner commander was reliable. They received confirmation. At the time of landing it was raining. "The weather conditions at that time were as follows: rain and wind of 200 degrees, 4-6 meters per second with gusts up to 8", - said RIA FAN. The source said that the investigators of the IAC have to find out why the pilots landed the plane late, because of what it went beyond the runway.

Earlier it was reported that the chairman of the Rostov trade union organization of the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of Russia Yuri Malianov considered that the accident occurred because of the failure of the brake system of the liner. Recall, on September 1, an airplane flying from Moscow to Sochi during the landing rolled out beyond the runway. As a result, the engine caught fire, and the landing gear and wings were broken. Injuries were received by 18 people, including three children.
