On Lozovschine, in the village of Elizavetovka, one of the multi-storey buildings began to collapse. On August 21 at half past twelve the residents of 22 houses heard a terrible roar. It turned out that a reinforced concrete beam fell from the house, which held bricks above the window of the 4th floor, the local Sigma shopping and entertainment center.
The house requires major repairs for about 15 years, said the chairman of the village council Larisa Artemenko. The primary problem is the roof, which must be repaired for a long time. During the rain in a high-rise building it flows almost to the first floor, residents complained.
Larisa Artemenko noted, according to preliminary estimates of specialists, major repairs of the house need from a million to 1.
5 million hryvnia. The village council does not have such money, the head emphasized.. And she added, she hopes for help from the region.
Generally there are 40 apartments in 22 houses and only 18 live people. All apartments on the last floors are empty, because they live where they constantly fill up, said the chairman of the village council.
There are 10 multi-storey houses in Elizavetovka, the situation is better there, but they also need major repairs.
