On the bypass road Vinnytsia this morning there was a traffic accident, as a result of which one person was killed, another seven were injured. This was reported by the press service of the National Police.

The accident occurred on August 19 at about 5:00 am. According to law enforcers, the driver of the Volkswagen Passat, which was moving towards Vinnitsa, drove to the oncoming lane. As a result, there was a collision with a minibus Fiat Ducato.

As a result of an accident, a driver of a car, a 33-year-old resident of Ternopil, died on the spot.

His wife and three-year-old daughter were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.

In addition, injured five residents of the Ternopil region, who were traveling in a minibus Fiat Ducato. Three juveniles from the same vehicle were taken to the hospital for examination.

On the fact of the road accident, criminal proceedings were opened on h. 2 items. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the rules of road safety or the operation of vehicles by persons who drive vehicles, which caused the death of the victim).
