Employees of the state emergency service in Lviv took out 130 people from flooded cars and fixed-route taxis, 15 of them children.

This was reported by the press service of the State Administration of Emergency Situations in Lviv region.

It is noted that on August 17 at 17:22 rescuers received a message that as a result of intensive rainfall, a number of streets of Lviv flooded: Zheleznodorozhnaya, Gorodetska, Glubokaya, Heroes of the UPA, Bohun, Sakharova, Privokzalnaya, Didushka, Kulparkivskaya, Torfyanaya and Dudaeva.

"Near the market" Privokzalny "rescuers in their hands carried out from flooded vehicles 77 people, of which 9 children," - said in a statement.

The Rescue Service adds that 9 taxis and 12 cars were towed away.



In addition, rescuers opened sewer hatches for draining water from the roadway, and regulated traffic of vehicles.
