The Turkish prosecutor's office continues the investigation into the case of a 30-year-old Russian who, in the resort of Alanya, inflicted a fatal blow to the Ukrainian Andrei Sove.
This was stated to journalists by Deputy Director of the Department of Consular Service - Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasily Kirilich, according to Ukrinform.
"The Turkish prosecutor's office responded to the request of the Ukrainian embassy in Turkey that investigative actions are being carried out, the suspect is kept in detention facilities," Kirilich said..
Recall, 57-year-old resident of Zaporozhye Andrei Sova died in a hospital in the Turkish city of Alanya July 14. Before that, he had been in coma for six days after a fight with a tourist from Russia.
On July 7, during the viewing of the match between the World Cup Croatia-Russia between the 57-year-old Ukrainian and the 30-year-old Russian, a conflict arose. During the clarification of relations, a Russian struck a tourist from Zaporozhye. He fell and hit his head.
The victim in a state of coma was taken to the local hospital, where he died.
On July 17 the court ruled to arrest the Russian, who pushed Andrei. He faces from 8 to 12 years imprisonment.
