Ordzhonikidzevsky District Court of Kharkiv was found guilty of high treason (h. 1 st. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) Kharkov, who collected information on the state defense orders of Ukraine for the Russian Federation.

The court sentenced him to 12 years imprisonment.

The prosecutor's office proved that the attacker collected information that belongs to scientific institutions and constitutes a state secret. In the future, information was planned to be given to representatives of a foreign state - Russia.

In the field of view of the Security Service of Ukraine, the attacker was in August 2017. Acting at the expense of the defense capability and state security of Ukraine, he collected information on the state defense order that is being carried out by one of the city's scientific centers on the basis of agreements with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

At the request of the prosecutor's office, the convict is in custody.

Now the verdict of the court has not come into force, since there is time for appeal on appeal.
