In the Transcarpathian region, law enforcement officers conducted a special operation to detain members of an organized group of drug traffickers. During the detention, one of the suspects resisted police officers, so law enforcement officers used firearms. This is reported in Facebook, the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

According to the police, the members of the group for a long time engaged in the manufacture and supply of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in large quantities both in the territory of the region and outside it.

The detainees seized a large consignment of drugs, as well as firearms and blankets.

The shooting had to be opened in order to stop the car on which the suspect was traveling. No injuries, all members of the group detained. The issue of electing him a measure of restraint is being decided, informing the police.
