A 21-year-old cadet of a military high school, armed with a revolver, attacked the branch of the Shvidko Groshi credit institution in Kharkov and stole 20,000 UAH from there.

This is reported by the press service of the police of the Kharkiv region.

"A resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region in the morning of July 3 broke into the premises of the" Shvidko Groshi "branch along Sumskaya Street and, under the threat of using an object similar to a pistol, openly seized the money in the amount of about 20 thousand hryvnia," law enforcers.

Police caught the criminal. They turned out to be a 21-year-old young man who studies in one of the Kharkov military high schools.

"He confiscated material evidence, including a revolver. The motive for his act was explained by the young man's desire to save a seriously ill close relative who needed an urgent operation, "the message says..

According to the police, the detainee was informed of suspicion of committing a serious crime and a preventive measure in the form of arrest.

"The malefactor faces from 7 to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property," the press service noted..
