From 2014 to 2017 in the annexation of Crimea to Russia, the release of pollutants into the air increased threefold, said on the air of the project Radio Crim. Realities Crimean ecologist Margarita Litvinenko.

"Now the sources of pollution are mobile gas turbine stations designed to fight Blackout. They give 44% of emissions. Herds of cars arrived on low-quality fuel and drive through the center of Sevastopol, Simferopol, "- said the ecologist.

Margarita Litvinenko added that a large role is played also by dumps, which, according to the expert, it is difficult to call polygons.

Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor published an anti-rating of air pollution, in which the annexed Crimea entered the top five.
