At night on June 30, off the coast of Cuba (50 km from Pinar del Rio), the sailors of the Norwegian cruise liner Getaway noticed a man overboard - it turned out that this was their 33-year-old colleague. The ship stopped, searches were made, but unsuccessful, - reports Miami Herald.

The plane of the Cuban rescue service departed 10 minutes after the incident, but eventually the man was found only after 22 hours, on July 1, 40 km north of Cuba. And they found him by chance: a man overboard noticed the steward of another cruise ship Glory, owned by Carnival Cruise Line.

It's hard to believe, but a man who spent almost a day at sea felt well-reportedly in a stable state.
