In Kharkov, vandals outraged the grave of the famous Ukrainian historian

At the cemetery No. 13 on Pushkinskaya street, 108 unknown persons stole a bust from the grave of the famous Kharkov historian Dmitry Bagaley. A report on the disappearance of the bust was received by the Kiev Police Department on May 16, 2018.

As explained in the police, they turned to a 57-year-old man (a relative of Bagaley), who reported the loss.

On this fact, the investigator of the Kiev police department opened criminal proceedings on h. 1 st. 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (outrage over the grave, other burial place or over the body of the deceased). Investigation continues.
