The State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine reports that snow fell in the Carpathians at night, and rescuers assisted accompanied by tourists.
"At six in the morning on June 23, the operational and rescue service of the State Emergency Situations Ministry received a report that due to the temperature decrease and snowfall in the highlands, a group of tourists from 35 people (including 27 children) requires escort from the Bliznitsa mountain of the Rakhiv district to the village of Belin. To assist, Rakhivskyi Mountain Search and Rescue Division of the search and rescue unit of the special-purpose rescue unit of the DSNS Administration in the Transcarpathian region consisting of 7 people and 4 units of equipment was involved. ".
