Egyptian actor Maher Esam died on the morning of June 17 after a strike, postponed on June 15 during the Egypt-Uruguay match at the World Cup in Russia, held in Russia.

38-year-old Maher Esam was so worried during the match that he had a cerebral artery, and he fell into a coma. Esam was taken to the hospital Imbaba, where doctors tried to stabilize his condition, but in vain, writes Al Arabiya.

It should be noted that in 2014 with Esam there was a similar case, and after a football game he fell into a coma for several weeks, but then the doctors managed to save him.

Esam's friend actor Sheriff Idris called on people who have health problems not to watch football matches so as not to subject themselves to excessive excitement.

Match Egypt - Uruguay ended with a victory for the Latin American team with a minimum score. The Egyptian national team managed to build a defense, which it was very difficult for Uruguayans to overcome. The only ball was scored at the very end of the game.

Maher Esam has acted in films since 1986. He played in such films as "Talisman" (1987), "Closed Doors" (1999), "September 11" (2002).
