During a school tourist hike in the Rivne region, a 12-year-old schoolgirl died. This is reported TSN.

Two girls, 9 and 12 years old, who participated in the school hike, suddenly found themselves at risk. They fought off the group and wandered into the water, in the sandy quarry, to be photographed. Schoolgirls came in shallow, knee-deep. But the bottom under the girls suddenly fell through, and they almost immediately found themselves under the water.

"Just went to the water, and then walked and walked and fell into that hole," said Vika Bugaichuk.

She went under the water first, and the girlfriend first tried to call for help, and then climbed to save her friend, but fell. When the children came running to the teachers, they quickly pulled schoolgirls to the surface. The elder, Lena, tried to help, since she was unconscious. But all efforts were futile. The girl died before the ambulance arrived.

Younger, Vika, doctors were taken to the hospital.

"A little bit of her got and water, the state of hypothermia. She primarily needed psychological comfort, "- said Deputy Chief Physician Rokitnivsky CRH Irina Naumovich.

At school, everyone is shocked by the tragedy. Teachers who took children on a hike are in a difficult psychological state.

"This is a tragedy for us. There the pressure, at such pressure do not live, reads off. If there was an opportunity to return her life, I would give my own at this moment, "- says the director of Rokitnovsky NPK Vladimir Bliznyuk.

The police opened the proceedings immediately on two counts - a premeditated murder, which is likely to be re-qualified for an accident, and improper performance of their duties by teachers. In addition, teachers began their own internal investigation.

"It's too early to comment or make any preliminary conclusions," explains the deputy head of the Rokitnovsky police department Lilia Bogdanets.

If the teachers' guilt is proven, they face up to three years in prison.
