This situation occurred around 4:30 pm. An elderly woman who lives on the 16th floor decided to go outside. According to her, somewhere on the 14th the elevator began to fall sharply downwards. Also in the cab switched off the light. The elevator flew 10 floors and stopped on the 3rd, and the pensioner was closed in a dark room. Even the people on the street heard the roar from the falling elevator. They called the police and the ambulance, who arrived within 10 minutes. However, they did not begin to rescue their grandmother, but decided to wait for lifters. The last arrived at the scene of the incident in 40 minutes. Just so open the cockpit did not work, the mechanism of opening the door jammed. Because the doors were opened for about an hour with the help of a special tool. As it turned out, the grandmother did not suffer, only she got a strong fright.
