Condemned in the case of "Crimean terrorists" anti-fascist Alexander Kolchenko went on a hunger strike demanding the release of director Oleg Sentsov, lawyer of the international human rights group "Agora" Andrey Lepekhin told Mediasonne.

According to Lepekhin, Kolchenko declared a hunger strike since May 31. Other requirements, except for the liberation of Sentsov, he does not have.

Oleg Sentsov himself is on a hunger strike on the 18th day. He demands the release of all 64 Ukrainian political prisoners on the territory of Russia. In support of the director and his demands, the hunger strike was previously announced by the Ukrainian military man Alexander Shumkov, who was arrested in Russia, and Stanislav Zimovets, the figurant of the "March 26 case". In the administration of the penal colony No. 12 of the Volgograd region, information about the hunger strike of Zimovets is denied.

On the 14th day of the hunger strike, Sentsov agreed to supportive therapy. The director's condition is assessed as satisfactory.

In 2015, Sentsov was sentenced to 20 years in a strict-security colony, Kolchenko - to 10 years. The director was convicted of creating a terrorist community, as well as in committing and preparing terrorist acts in the Crimea; Kolchenko - in participation in the terrorist attack and in the terrorist community. Both defendants did not plead guilty.
