Fleeing from Russia, Arkady Babchenko, death overtook on the threshold of his own apartment. New details of the murder of the "freedom fighter" were revealed by the People's Deputy of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko. According to him, the killer was in the entrance. Waiting for the journalist to approach the front door, he fired several shots at his back. This was written by Gerashchenko in his Facebook, calling Babchenko "a martyr for freedom and prosperity of Russia and peace in Ukraine". Meanwhile, the Investigative Committee of Russia has already started a criminal investigation into the murder. Police of Kiev also opened a case under the article "Intentional homicide".
