Head of the Economic Court of the Mykolayiv region Konstantin Vasilyak became a participant in a serious traffic accident on the road near Nikolayev.

As reported by Novosti-N, the Volkswagen Tuareg SUV, the Skania truck and the Volkswagen minibus collided on the Nikolaev-Kherson highway in the village of Shevchenkovo ??on Sunday evening, May 13.

According to preliminary data, Konstantin Vasilyaka was traveling to Volkswagen Touareg from Kherson towards Nikolaev.

According to eyewitnesses, in the village of Shevchenkovo ??"Tuareg", trying to get around the pits on the road, hooked the truck that was going to meet Scania.

After this, "Volkswagen" went to the oncoming lane and almost "forehead" collided with a minibus Volkswagen.

As a result of the accident, two people were injured, traveling in a minibus. They were provided with medical assistance on the spot.

All three cars received mechanical damage.

Judge Vasilyak himself did not suffer - from serious injuries he was rescued by the normally deployed airbags.

According to information from sources in the regional economic court, the accident could have been caused by the fact that two months ago Konstantin Vasilyak suffered a serious illness.

After this kind of illness for at least a year is not recommended to sit behind the wheel.

At the same time, NikVesti notes that in the declaration for 2017, Vasilyak did not indicate that he owns or uses a car.

The judge declared UAH 704,750 of income for the previous year, of which UAH 379,281 - salary in the Economic Court, the rest - pension and interest from deposits in banks. Together with his wife he keeps on bank accounts 1.5 million hryvnia.
