British maniac Dennis Nielsen, who confessed to the murder of about 15 people, died in prison on the 73rd year of life. Causes of death are not specified yet. This is reported by BBC News.

In the press center of the Full Sutton prison near York, where he was held, they clarified that an independent investigation will be conducted in order to establish the causes of Nielsen's death.

The murderer, who committed crimes in the 1970s and 1980s, was convicted in 1983 and sentenced to life imprisonment. The court found him guilty of six murders and two attempts.

Nielsen killed and dismembered victims in his home in London. He hunted for men, mostly homeless young gay men, luring them into an apartment, and after the murder he could remain with a corpse for several days in the same room.
